ISB LogoThrough its INNOTOP and INNOSTART programmes, the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) offers attractive funding opportunities for SMEs in cooperation with research institutions and universities. The institute is happy to be at your disposal as a practice-oriented research partner.

INNOSTART: With the InnoStart funding module from the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation and Technology Promotion Programme, companies can apply for grants of up to 12,500 euros for the awarding of research and development activities at universities or research institutions. This is intended to encourage small and medium-sized companies to cooperate with universities and research institutions through low-threshold entry-level projects, since an exchange between companies and research institutions can considerably improve and accelerate product development. InnoStart uses a slim application form and stands for low administrative effort and a quick funding decision.

INNOTOP: The InnoTop funding programme offers the possibility of applying for non-repayable grants for research and development. Eligible for funding is the implementation of R&D projects in connection with the development of new products, processes or services that advance the state of the art in the European Union and whose realisation is associated with considerable risks. The R&D activities must fall into the categories of industrial research and/or experimental development.

Innovationsgutschein: With the Innovation Voucher (R&D Contract) funding module from the Rhineland-Palatinate Individual Technology Promotion Programme (InnoTop), companies with an operating site in Rhineland-Palatinate can commission external research and development institutions to provide development services for their own projects. A company can apply for a grant of up to 20,000 euros for an R&D contract. The innovation voucher (R&D contract) is intended to encourage small and medium-sized companies to cooperate with external research and development institutions within the scope of their own projects. External research and development institutions include universities, public and private research institutions and comparable private sector providers of development services. External research and development institutions do not have to be located in Rhineland-Palatinate.
