Institut für Technologie und Arbeit (ITA)
The institute is a human factors, ergonomics, and economic research organisation recognised as an institute at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Its activities in a wide range of application areas, in which the Institute is active in both basic and implementation-oriented projects, are based on a common Mission statement . Between 25 and 30 academic and non-academic staff of different disciplines work together at ITA. The institute is supported by a Scientific Steering Committee . ITA has been working for many years with a wide variety of industry and research partners, with ministries and project management agencies. Diverse cooperations also exist with foundations, associations and umbrella organisations as well as through the active membership of ITA in various networks.
