Brief description

In the EICON project, ITA, together with European partners, has developed approaches to improve the inclusion capacity of vocational education and training institutions using information and communication technologies (ICT).

Under the project acronym EICON, ITA (as the project coordinator) together with European partners worked on approaches to improve the inclusion capacity of vocational education and training institutions. The aim was to consistently take into account the inclusion potential of information and communication technologies (ICT) in these institutions and, above all, to consider topics "beyond the classroom". EICON stands for the project title "Enhancing inclusion capacity of educational organisations / institutions providing VET with information and communication technologies (ICT)" and brought together partners from Germany, Portugal, Finland, Greece and Sweden in a Strategic Partnership within the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union.

The project was successfully completed at the end of October 2020. The results were finalised and are now available for free use.

The ERASMUS+ EICON project developed free tools to support organizations / institutions providing vocational education and training (VET) to become more inclusive using information and communication technology (ICT). inklusiver These tools can be used by teachers, by managers or by facilitators who support VET organizations in organizational change processes.
