Mari­na Jentsch has been a rese­arch assistant at ITA sin­ce 2011. Her work and rese­arch inte­rests are in the field of sus­tainable deve­lo­p­ment: cor­po­ra­te social respon­si­bi­li­ty, sus­taina­bi­li­ty in sup­pli­er rela­ti­ons, but also sus­tainable com­mu­ni­ty deve­lo­p­ment. After gra­dua­ting from the Pedago­gi­cal Uni­ver­si­ty Ros­tov-on-Don in Rus­sia, she com­ple­ted the cour­se of stu­dies in Social and Busi­ness Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on at the Uni­ver­si­ty of the Arts Ber­lin (Dipl.-Komm.-Wirtin) with the main sub­jects Stra­te­gic Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on Plan­ning, Ver­bal Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and Eco­no­mics.

The pro­ject ‘Smart col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve work­flow deve­lo­p­ment in the foot­wear indus­try — MELLOW’ was laun­ched on 1 Janu­ary 2025. It is fun­ded as part of the ‘Future of Work’ pro­gram­me by the Fede­ral Minis­try of Edu­ca­ti­on and Rese­arch (BMBF) and the Euro­pean Uni­on via the Euro­pean Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) and is mana­ged by the Pro­ject Manage­ment Agen­cy Karls­ru­he (PTKA).
