Dominik Kaus hat seinen Master of Arts im Studiengang der integrativen Sozialwissenschaften, mit einem Schwerpunkt im Bereich Technik und Kompetenz, an der RPTU Kaiserslautern absolviert.

Bereits während seines Studiums hatte Herr Kaus für das Institut als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft in Projekten des “Mittelstand digital Zentrums” und “digitale Teams” gearbeitet.

Seit April 2021 ist Herr Kaus am Institut als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter angestellt. Seine Kerntätigkeiten sind in dem Forschungsprojekt readi sowie dem Regionalen Zukunftszentrum für künstliche Intelligenz (RZzKI) verortet. Die Arbeitsschwerpunkte von Herrn Kaus liegen dabei in den folgenden Bereichen:

  • Digitalisierung und Küntliche Intelligenz
  • Changeprozesse und Menschzentrierung
  • Resilienzförderung
  • Design und Auswertung von Fragebögen

IDIAL – Intelligent Services Innovative Agile Local

IDIAL aims to develop AI services for knowledge workers in the skilled trades that are specifically tailored to the needs of smaller companies. Together with partners DFKI and eBZ, economic and practical approaches are being researched and developed that optimise work processes in the field of knowledge work and take into account the specific requirements of SMEs. The IDIAL solution strategy focuses on the early integration of ergonomic and technological development based on the specific tasks of information and knowledge workers. On the one hand, the project delivers immediately usable results for companies in the state and is intended to contribute to technology-oriented competence building in Rhineland-Palatinate.
